How Matching Works

You stay informed and involved — always.

1 · You apply

Tell us about your student using the application below. It takes about ten minutes.

2 · Counselors help match

We work with school counselors at Nichols Intermediate to pair your student with the right mentor.

3 · You give consent

No match happens without your written consent. You'll know who your student's mentor is from day one.

4 · Mentoring begins

Monthly lunch meetings at school, monthly community activities, and weekly check-ins for the school year.
